Determination of Accuracy of Positioning – ISO 230-2 Standard (Unidirectional sytematic positioning deviation of an axis) Clamping Torque
  The so called clamping torque only includes the clamping mechanism, which does not include clamping force the worm gear. The clamping torque shown on this catalog was measured at 50/35 kg/cm2 hydraulic pressure and 5kg/cm2 air pressure.
  The presentation of test results for ISO 230-2 are based on continuously five revolutions of clockwise and counter clockwise, repeatedly. It is also based on unidirectional accuracy of positioning for the calculations of results.  

 

 

 


 
Determination of Accuracy of Repeatability – ISO 230-2 Standard (Unidirectional repeatability of positioning) Allowable Wheel Torque
  The presentation of test results for ISO 230-2 are based on continuously five revolutions of clockwise and counter clockwise, repeatly. It is also based on unidirectional repeatability of positioning for the calculations of results.   This allowable wheel torque is equal to the allowable torque for the worm wheel when the table rotation speed is 1 min-1. The allowable torque for the worm wheel is subject to the standard stipulated by the Japan Gear Manufacturers Association.
